Layout improvements for audience view
Some minor improvements could include those displayed in figure 1.
- display filters in the context of the results (as removable chips)
- disable pagination when there aren’t enough results
- move the Audience kebab/•••/action buttons to a more expected placement in proximity to the item title— this could highlight a clearer relationship between the button and the item itself, whereas before, it looked more connected to the checkboxes because of their tight proximity.
Figma Mockup
The image above was mostly cut together while I was having some Figma related technical issues. That said, I managed to put together the workings of a Figma mockup below.
While I was starting from scratch (or from existing libraries), I figured I would dream up a color-variant of the navigation bar. It could give the app a more memorable look. And it’s one way to replace the current logo in the top left of the sidebar, which poses a usability issue because it appears like a navigation item itself.
